How to keep a useful period diary
A few consistent details can help explain a pattern more clearly than memory alone.

Three practical points
- Record the first day of bleeding, its duration and how it affects your day.
- Note pain, product changes and any bleeding between periods. Use descriptions you understand.
- Bring the diary to your appointment and highlight your main concern rather than trying to interpret it yourself.
In the Philippines, contact your usual health center, pharmacist or appropriate clinician for individual advice. Service availability and fees vary; ask the provider directly.
