Bladder leakage: how to start the conversation
Leakage is a health concern you can discuss without embarrassment.

Three practical points
- Describe whether it happens with coughing or exercise, a sudden urge, or at other times.
- Say how it affects travel, sleep, work or confidence.
- Ask what assessment and treatment options are appropriate rather than relying only on absorbent products.
In the Philippines, contact your usual health center, pharmacist or appropriate clinician for individual advice. Service availability and fees vary; ask the provider directly.
